Sketch’s name on skins goes perfectly with the narrative & her personality, even if unintentionnaly. That was what jumped into my mind instantly upon reading this NYT article: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/31/magazine/31FOB-onlanguage-t.html?ref=on_language The whole On Language section’s marevellousness is expressed by the fact that, along with the abovementiond goodie, it had this beauty - http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/25/magazine/25FOB-onlanguage-t.html?ref=on_language - , that inspired me to start watching Mad Men (soon) & realise that Sex & the City’s title is a reference to 60s advice books. And all I wanted was some material for a paper I am to write (& I found some, too! All hail The New York Times!). |
