Each of the cards has a different illustration, and represents either a character or theme from Wilde’s works and/or life. I have to admit I got all sentimental when I saw that although Bosie is the Jack of Hearts, Constance is the Queen. :’) (Oscar himself, of course, is the King.)

Don’t expect to play Texas hold’em with these though. They’re just for casually admiring. With clean hands. While I stand over you, watching suspiciously to make sure you’re not bending them. :P

Sketch’s name on skins goes perfectly with the narrative & her personality, even if unintentionnaly. That was what jumped into my mind instantly upon reading this NYT article: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/31/magazine/31FOB-onlanguage-t.html?ref=on_language The whole On Language section’s marevellousness is expressed by the fact that, along with the abovementiond goodie, it had this beauty - http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/25/magazine/25FOB-onlanguage-t.html?ref=on_language - , that inspired me to start watching Mad Men (soon) & realise that Sex & the City’s title is a reference to 60s advice books. And all I wanted was some material for a paper I am to write (& I found some, too! All hail The New York Times!).

I’ve recently had a dream with red-headded Rose as my girlfriend. We argued a lot. There were some good times as well. :D It happened due to my pre-The Doom Generation anticipation. The film was ultimetely too trashy for me, couldn’t get to fin. Must admit, there were some moments of hottness (mostly Rose, naturally) & so-bad-it’s-goodness.
